The Waimate Taiāmai Collective proposes a way to catapult us forward, led by hapū with our tamariki mokopuna at the core. Your hapū connect (takawaenga) are Arohanui Allen and Te Rau Allen.

Te Whiu hapū blessed the opening of a kiwi sanctuary recently and bestowed a te reo Māori name - Te Korowai Atawhai o Puketōtara (The Caring Cloak of Puketōtara). The board members of Te Whiu as well as the Te Korowai Atawhai o Puketōtara staff and volunteers attending the blessing ceremony. Two kiwi are already recovering within the sanctuary and will hopefully make a speedy recovery.

Māori Soldiers Trust scholarship is available for tertiary students. The value given is at the discretion of the board, usually between $500 and $3000 to spend on whatever you need for uni. More info here:
